Spurlock Museum Guide

Museum guide created for the Ancient Mediterranean wing of the Spurlock Museum in Urbana. The assignment was to choose 6 pieces in the wing that follow a central theme and design a way-finding booklet or guide to take a patron through the exhibit and educate them on both the overarching theme and the chosen individual pieces.

The six pieces chosen to explain were mold created from statues carved of different Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses. The design of the booklet was inspired by a navigation system and attempted to mimic was the visitor was seeing in each wing through the illustrations on the page as well as emphasize the pieces which the booklet is attempting to draw attention to. The location of the map in the upper right corner explains both the current location of the visitor in context of the overall wing, as well as the direction that they should continue to move to proceed with the order of the booklet.
